AMBASSADOR N. OYUNDARI ATTENDED THE AWARD CEREMONY OF THE PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL BENEDYKT POLAK AWARD HELD IN WROCŁAW
On 6 June 2026, Ambassador N. Oyundari attended the award ceremony of the prestigious international Benedykt Polak Award held in Wrocław, the Republic of Poland. The award is named after Benedykt Polak, the renowned Polish explorer and one of the first major European envoys to travel to the Mongol Empire in the 13th century.
Ambassador N. Oyundari noted that Benedykt Polak’s journey to the Mongol Empire stands as a testament to the long-standing historical ties between Mongolia and Poland. She also emphasized that, in contemporary times, cooperation and exchanges between the two countries have continued to expand across a broad range of fields, including culture, arts, science, education, trade, economy, and business.
During the ceremony, Ambassador N. Oyundari congratulated the three principal laureates of this year’s Benedykt Polak Award and expressed her high appreciation for their valuable contributions to science, research, culture, and international cooperation.
The Benedykt Polak Award ceremony is traditionally held annually under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland.
