MEETING WITH THE FRESHMAN STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WARSAW

The Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw, Poland, organizes the annual "First-Year Students' Meeting with Ambassadors from Eastern Countries." During this event, H.E. Mrs. N. Oyundari, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Poland wished academic success to the newly enrolled students, particularly those studying Oriental Studies and Mongolian Studies. She also invited them to visit Mongolia.

She presented nine-volume book, "Materials of the 1915-16 Population Census of Mongolia," to the Rector of the University of Warsaw, Alojzy Z.Nowak, and the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Agata Bareja-Starzyńska. This is a research work by the renowned Mongolist Władysław Kotwicz and been preserved in the Archives of Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Academy of Arts in Kraków.

Additionally, the Embassy of Mongolia set up a special table for the students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, featuring traditional Mongolian food, dishes, and promotional materials to introduce Mongolian culture and traditions.
