AMBASSADOR N.OYUNDARI ATTENDED THE 3RD COORDINATION MEETING OF THE GI-MINE PROJECT

In Poznań, on June 10, Ambassador N.Oyundari attended the 3rd coordination meeting of the GI-MINE project implemented by Central Institute of Mining - National Research Institute in cooperation with Mongolian Coal Association and other partners. Her Excellency met with the Rector of the University of Life Sciences in Poznan, K. Szoszkiewicz, and exchanged views on cooperation in the fields of education and science, including student and faculty exchanges, and joint research between universities and laboratories of the two countries, and discussed the The 17th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) to be held in Mongolia in 2026.

At the same time, the Ambassador visited the laboratories of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań and got acquainted with the research on growing various plants in post-mining soil reclaimed under the GI-MINE project. Her Excellency also visited the Laboratory of Food Safety and Functional Properties and the Biotechnology Pilot Station. The university has faculties of Agronomy, Forestry, Animal Breeding and Biology, Wood Technology, Horticulture, Food Science and Nutrition, Land Reclamation and Environmental Engineering, and Economics and Social Sciences.
