AMBASSADOR N.OYUNDARI MET WITH THE MAYOR OF KOLOBRZEG
On July 29, 2025, Ambassador N.Oyundari met with the Mayor of Kolobrzeg, Mrs. Anna Mieczkowska, to launch a friendly regional cooperation and discuss opportunities for cooperation in the tourism, culture, medical and sanatorium sectors within the framework of this work. Kolobrzeg, located in the northwestern part of the Poland, along a 12-kilometer-long coastline, was destroyed by about 90 percent during World War II. It has about 47,000 residents, but has a number of state and well-known private sanatoriums, such as "Verano" and "Baltic". The city has about 8,000 hotel beds, receives about 800,000 tourists annually, is famous for its therapeutic mud and salt water, and is considered a major tourist region. One of the 9 salt mines in the region is located on the territory of the Verano sanatorium.
