10 ANNIVERSARY OF THE HONORARY CONSULATE GENERAL OF MONGOLIA IN KRAKÓW

This year marks the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Poland and the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Honorary Consulate General of Mongolia in Kraków, Poland.

On the occasion of the above Anniversaries, Honorary Consul General Mrs. Ts. Urtnasan and Deputy Marshal of the Małopolskie Voivodeship Mr. R. Pagacz jointly organized the "Mongolian Cultural Festival" event at the Małopolskie Garden of Arts on September 29, 2025.

Chargée d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Mongolia Z. Tselmen attended the event and delivered a speech, expressing deep gratitude to the Honorary Consul General and wishing her great success, health, happiness and all the best in her future work.

From the Polish side, member of the Constitutional Tribunal S.Piotrovicz, Head of the Małopolskie Voivodeship K.Klęczar, Former Ambassador of Poland to Mongolia Mr. K.Bojko, Dean of the Corps of Honorary Consuls in Kraków W.Wojnarowski, Honorary Consul General and Honorary Consuls of foreign countries in Kraków, Director of the Archive of Science of Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (PAU) Dr. A.Korczyński, leadership of the Jagiellonian University, the University of Agriculture in Krakow, the University of Economics in Krakow and other distinguished representatives attended.

After the official part of the event, the Mongolian National Music Band "Sedaa" performed, as well as Mongolian and Polish national cuisine was introduced to the guests.

Ts. Urtnasan was appointed Honorary Consul of Mongolia 10 years ago and appointed Honorary Consul General at the end of 2023. Although she officially began her activities as Honorary Consul in 2015, she has been cooperating with the Embassy of Mongolia since the 1990s. Her name is listed among the longest-serving Honorary Consuls in the history of Mongolia.
