Ambassador N.Oyundari took part in the Business Forum organised by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) that took plane on November 5, 2025.

The forum was dedicated to representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises and brought together over 70,000 business participants, offering them the opportunity to meet face-to-face with international market experts, gain practical insights into export potential, investment climate, and global partnerships, and expand business cooperation. The event featured thematic panels, B2B meetings, and networking sessions that facilitated meaningful connections among participants.

The forum was opened by Deputy Minister of Development and Technology, Chairman of the Board of PAIH Andrzej Dycha, representatives of the Polish Development Fund (PFR Group). The keynote speaker, economist and former Deputy Prime Minister of Poland Leszek Balcerowicz, highlighted Poland’s economic achievements while emphasizing the need to address several key challenges. He criticized the expansion of social welfare programs driven by political campaign promises—particularly the child benefit policy—for placing pressure on the economy. He also noted that no state-owned enterprises had been privatized in the past decade, and that new ones were being created under strategic labels, increasing the burden on the national budget. Additionally, he stressed the need to reform Poland’s tax system.
