Chair of the Mongolian–Polish Parliamentary Group, Mr. J. Zoljargal, met with Mr. Marian Zmarzły, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Poland

On April 16, 2026, a delegation led by Member of the State Great Hural of Mongolia and Chair of the Mongolian–Polish Parliamentary Group, Mr. J. Zoljargal, met with Mr. Marian Zmarzły, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Poland.

The parties exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the mining and energy sectors and discussed ways to further develop collaboration, including improving the legal framework for introducing modern technologies and innovations, as well as studying Poland’s experience and know-how.

While the Republic of Poland, like other European Union member states, is transitioning from coal to green energy within the framework of the European Green Deal, it possesses extensive experience in deep coal mining and a highly skilled workforce in this field. This creates broad opportunities to introduce such knowledge and technologies to Mongolia and to expand bilateral cooperation.
